That is false. ERHC recorded the liability to CEPSA on their books and it is still there as of the last report. And from what I hear CEPSA has every intention of collecting the $10 million they are owed. They are just biding their time waiting to see what ERHC has of value so they can go after it using every legal means possible.

Furthermore ERHC has NOT received an official extension from Kenya. Neither Kenya nor ERHC has ever given, received or published any notice of an official extension.

Also, ERHC has ongoing financial commitments in block 11A right now that they are delinquent on. These are clearly spelled out in the PSC, and ERHC has not paid them.

Also, it seems nobody is the least bit interested in partnering with ERHC after they stiffed their last partner and after CEPSA determined 11A was dry and not worth pursuing any further. So if ERHC gets to keep the block it will only be because nobody else wants it. Kenya now has a number of blocks unleased and there is little interest. Especially in the ones that have dry holes drilled already.

Finally, the only pipeline currently being considered isn't close to ERHC's block. And even if it was ERHC has no oil to put in it.
