The level of credibility those biopsies will bring to the results is tremendous. Makes a trial of 60 more like a trial of 600.

Yes, I agree. Even if doctors/patients/company did not know who is taking the drug or who is taking the placebo (but by direct experience I can tell you that there are ways you manage to know... ;.)), the biopsy results would be evident to everybody and the improvement in the placebo is minimal/if any at all. So significant improvement in the majority of patients would mean that Emricasan is providing a significant benefit.
