I don't know why some people keep saying that statin intolerance isn't a thing!

As I noted, the putative side effects (and I say that even of my own experiences) are very varied and take substantial time to appear. They are also often in areas which are not easily measured. The combo makes it very difficult to make definitive statements. Heck, it took decades for the glycemic issues to become widely recognized and then accepted - and that is a very very measurable item.
