The quality of Oregon weed is probably much better than CA at this point. That's the issue LVVV is addressing and coming up with solutions for. LVVV is cleaning up the CA mess. Yes, maybe you should cut back a little. Over indulging in anything is usually not good. Hope you come up with a solution to your problem.
