Did you forget about their $2.6 BILLION Infringement lawsuit they’re faced with. Will they take care of this prior to any licensing agreement? Twitter’s backed into a corner, best way out is to acquire VPLM. Highly unlikely anyone will acquire Twitter with this hanging over their head. IMHO

My business partner was a CFO for a publicly traded medical devices company and he explained that the way this worked in his business was that there was basically an auction on licensing agreements and that that the first people to buy in got a much better deal.

What VPLM needs is for just one marquee company to agree to a licensing deal and then all sorts of things become possible.

First of all valuations become much more tangible and the reality of getting gutted financially by not falling in line and continuing to infringe becomes much more clear.

Twitter getting on board under this sort of scenario makes some sense. VPLM could offer them amnesty on past infringement just to get the ball rolling.

I really try to avoid putting out my uninformed opinion on this board, but this statement comes from the mouth of someone who has actually negotiated both sides of actual infringement lawsuits....it makes sense to me and would tend to explain why we are not hearing a lot from the company. All of these discussions are wrapped up in very punitive NDAs.
