#33924 RE: Honeycomb777 #33887

Gay didn’t just join $GIGL. You know that right? He was brought in, in 2015 to expand GIGL. They just repeated his responsibilities from 2015 to this "new" job title now.

Why did he not use all those connections, been there/done that experience, and his awesome reputation for the last three years to expand GIGL? Did his failure to expand GIGL "tarnish" his and his company reputation, like you stated? Of course not.

Expansion was the reason he was given an executive position in 2015 and he did nothing for three years and now POOF, he's a magician and stores are going to appear? People buy into that? Same job responsibilities, different title.

Nothing has changed. Now, the reported backstop is gone? That was the Hail Mary we were hoping for to pull this off. There's your POOF magic moment right there. The backstop disappeared.

This isn’t a new role for Gay. He’s been in this exact same role with GIGL for three years now. I know you won't believe me, so here is Gay and Parsi saying the same exact thing:

From the 2015 PR:
...stated Gay. "As an active member of the Company's executive management team, I can put my wealth of industry experience to work as we execute on our plans to expand to 25 locations over the next three years."

In his role as chief business development officer at Giggles N' Hugs, Gay's responsibilities will include designing and implementing processes to support business growth, as well as building and maintaining high-level contacts with current and prospective customers and partners, ultimately driving prospects through to contract award.

"Philip brings tremendous restaurant experience with some of
the most recognizable eateries in the world and will be invaluable as we build Giggles N' Hugs domestically and internationally,"
commented Joey Parsi, founder and CEO of Giggles N' Hugs.

"His leadership experience, general business knowledge, and financial expertise are just some of the reasons we originally invited him to join our advisory board last fall.

We are thrilled to now (2015) have him as part of our core executive team as we begin our next phase of expansion."

Sort of sounds like 2018 doesn't it?

(Feel free to address the message, not attack the messenger. There is no sinister conspiracy theory here.)
