Agree with the observation JS.
Assume a few of us fill our mancaves with enterprise level servers that cause alarms to go off at the local power distributor when we fire them up. We collectively isolate a few thousand shares, deploy a HFT application and start trading those shares back and forth walking the price UP a penny at a time. Our aspirational goal is to overwhelm the sell side, to the degree possible, to meet our self interested SP increase agenda.
I wonder how long it would take the SEC and the DOJ to get interested.
