Looking at D*RM and their weekly chart you will note that the last 4 weeks prior to the stock falling off the cliff, it closed below it's weekly 20SMA. This is an indication of distribution. Investors Business Daily (IBD) noted on February 14 that "Dermira is not currently showing a potential buy point." Even though the stock had an up day on 3-2-18 on volume of 491,785, on 3-1-18 the stock closed down on 1,396,997 shares traded. I'm not so sure that anyone can predict what lies ahead for any stock price because of the axiom that "news trumps all" but having a stock chart to interpret can give one hints.
