dread H.R. Our very own department H.R. rep will also be in attendance. The guy gives me the creeps. Puffy-faced putz from the midwest. Can't tell if he is there to enjoy himself with the rest of us or to see who's a team player and who isn't. As a lawyer friend of mine said, "Remember, H.R. is not your friend."
United Way: They have a drive every year. I throw out the form... If they are going to boycott the Boy Scouts, then they can forget my little two cents. We have a matching gifts program for contributions of fifty dollars or more. I pick my charities selectively so they can get the full benefit of company bucks.
Corporate topless dancer: That must have been one hell of a party and she must have had a couple of charming assets to remain employed. Gather she was not one of the top executives. Wonder if she remembers the incident.

Getting chilly in the hills of nj... drove with the heat on low both ways yesterday and was surprised that wearing the suit jacket felt good heading in and out of the office. Even shut the bedroom window last night. Too much rain and too many clouds. We may see the sun this afternoon. We could use it. It is going to be very wet at the picnic grounds.
