What am I making up? AI, Trumpf, SLM are going to multiple lasers for their AM machines. This is a fact. Printrite3d does not work on machines with multiple lasers.

MetalFAB1 is the first integrated metal additive manufacturing machine. The MetalFAB1 uses powder bed fusion with multiple lasers.

This use of multiple lasers to increase productivity is a relatively new concept across the metal AM industry that presents a number of challenges to system manufacturers, in particular ensuring the lasers are operating continuously to maximise build efficiencies. The subject of multi-laser systems and their optimisation was the focus of a presentation by Trumpf’s Dr Damien Buchbinder, head of AM product management.

According to the company, switching from one laser to two lasers could increase build rates by up to 90 per cent, and adding a third could increase them by an additional 80 per cent.

It does not take to much foresight to realize that if printrite3d does not work on multiple laser machines we are probably not going to sell alot in the fuutre.

I was asking people on the board how difficult this will be to get printrite3d to work with machines with multiple lasers?
