That is a pretty bold statement considering the tobacco companies NEVER had to listen to the FDA before 2009. They also fared real well in the court case in 1998 didn't they? Since 2009 the FDA has not issued any restrictions on tobacco use or sales. And you don't think that is about to change?

Funny, drug companies seem to care what the FDA says and they don't sell as many products that kill so many people.

Do they really need to do anything without a mandate? If there is a mandate do we think they will simply comply or try to push it out or change it?
