Because, they still are a publicly traded company and want to keep what shareholders they still have left informed.

Some are still accumulating on the low, and will do so as prices continue to sink lower, with the speculation that, at some point in the future, a huge profit will materialized.........If they'd all of a sudden go silent, then one would have more of a reason to be worried.
