Yes. The shorts seem to be covering about 1K shares per day.

That's not enough to make any difference. either to the price or to their short positions.

It will be tough to cover 200K shares at these prices if POLA comes through with halfway decent earnings. I'll sell them mine, but not at these prices.

Time will tell. It usually does!
