I bet in the end, Broadcom raises its bid back up and then Qualcomm takes the deal, because at the shareholders meeting next month, i bet most will vote for the broadcom deal. Qualcomm will never get to $82 on its own. The board in place is just trying to protect their positions, because broadcomm wants them out. If the six proposed board members get voted in at the March meeting, then the deal will most definitely happen. I am betting they get voted in.
