We now have full details on the film’s release strategy.

As we recently learned, Harrison Smith’s Death House, dubbed by fans as being “The Expendables of Horror,” will hit limited markets on February 23, following its big premiere in both New York and Los Angeles. We now know that the film will subsequently expand to 40 additional markets on March 2.

Then, in April, Death House will arrive on pay per view and Netflix, as well as in Redbox. It’ll also receive its foreign release in April, ahead of a DVD/Blu-ray on June 5.

Check out the handy chart below for all the info.

*UPDATE: We’ve just been informed that the Death House LA premiere has been pushed to March 2nd, the PA premiere has been moved to March 4th, and the NY premiere has been cancelled. The film’s two major expansions are now set for March 9th and March 16th.*

Death House, written by Smith and the late Gunnar Hansen, stars a long list of legends including Kane Hodder, Barbara Crampton, Dee Wallace, Tony Todd, Bill Moseley, Adrienne Barbeau, Michael Berryman, Felissa Rose and Sid Haig.

In the film…

“Two federal agents fight their way through nine levels of Hell inside a secret prison known as the Death House. A facility-wide prison break turns their flight into a tour of horrors as they push toward the ultimate evil housed in the lowest depths of the earth.”
