He did build a machine, a fine tuned bloated printing press. When I look at this CEO’s career it looks typical of a want to be. He’s served in the public sector most of his career but never really elevated into any position of power or influence. His most recent endeavor into business (BVTK) has been an utter failure with repeated attempts to chum up to whatever contacts he made in the public sector really to no avail.
With his “contacts” and “impeccable character” and vast personal wealth (as touted on this board) why would he even bother venturing into an OTC company? Why can’t he raise private capital, there are tons of private VC funding sources available for viable businesses and he can’t find ONE? Nobody seems to able to answer these very rudimentary questions.
Maybe, just maybe this CEO’s “want to be” personality and ego has just steered him in this OTC direction because of good old greed? It’s tough to try and surround yourself in a crowd of highly successful, affluent people only to stand out as a person who has done well for himself but has never really “made it big”.
Clearly he enjoys jet setting and being in the public eye (even though it’s all peripheral) and bloviating about being a “person of great importance” but really how important is he?
I’m sure he does well with his private consulting firm but you’ll never see those books or balance sheets. You get to see the books of BVTK which are a disaster now and a bigger disaster in the making all on the backs of retail investors.
If this CEO really wants to operate a successful publicly owned company he should run away from BVTK as fast as he can. This is not a success story in the making, it’s a disaster in the making and one that will surely haunt him professionally, especially with the “businesses” he is associating with.
Should any of this ongoing circus show come under regulatory scrutiny it’s bye bye contacts, bye bye career.
Of course this is all just my opinion.
