I would think very soon with the recent PR.Don't think they want the interest to die by waiting too long.

I doubt they'll announce the date, because there are a lot of unknowns. They'll no doubt have some little bugs to fix, and things to tweak, and it'll take a while to make sense of all of the feedback they get from the beta testers. So there will probably be little warning or no warning at all for when it launches. All I know is I want to make sure I own a bunch before they make that announcement, because I don't want to be chasing.
