Jefferson's Bourbon - In this week's edition of Honoring our Collaborators, we give a shoutout to Trey's long-time friend, Chris Fischer of OCEARCH.

In 2012, the pair partnered together in a curious effort to discover what would happen if bourbon was left to weather the extreme elements. With the idea that constant movement of the liquid in the barrels ages the whiskey faster because more of the liquid is in contact with the wood more often, Zoeller strapped five barrels of Jefferson’s bourbon to Fischer's MV OCEARCH, a 126’ Cat-powered vessel that serves as OCEARCH’s mothership and at-sea laboratory. And the rest, is bourbon history.
