General Dynamics Land Systems-Canada: A Partner in Canada's Advanced Manufacturing Supercluster
LONDON, Ontario, Feb. 20, 2018 /CNW/ -- General Dynamics Land Systems–Canada announces it is a network partner of the Southern Ontario-based Next Generation Manufacturing Canada Advanced Manufacturing Supercluster, as confirmed Thursday, February 15, by the Government of Canada.
The Advanced Manufacturing Supercluster is part of the Innovation Superclusters Initiative, made possible through the Canadian Government's Innovation and Skills Plan.

The Innovation Superclusters Initiative is an important co-investor in the success of Canada's manufacturing industry and aims to create a critical mass of innovation activity with gravity powerful enough to attract talent, technology, investment, and customers from around the world.
The initiative secures government investment in the Advanced Manufacturing sector over the period of 2018–2022, and is designed to support business-led innovation superclusters across Canada to encourage Canadian economic growth and innovation leadership.

Based in London, Ontario, it employs approximately 2,000 people in the design, manufacture and support of light- and medium-armoured vehicles, and are specialists in machining, materials, electronics, software development, prototyping, logistics support and systems integration.
