The supreme court usually reviews cases to potentially take on - on Fridays. It means a copy was given to all judges and it is to be considered on that date. Which is today.
Outcome from that is they accept it, deny it or don't bother to discuss it which is pretty much the same as deny.
So really - today is the important day for that case. I'm not sure when they publish decisions though. I believe those discussions are done in private.
