I don't know the history of the VitaminFizz. Not sure on the "complete BS" as you say since you state that it was selling on Amazon, and it was awesome. I don't know the nuts and bolts of what might have happened there so cannot remark. Obviously it wasn't BS in the sense there was a real product that sold and people like yourself liked it.
