There is some evidence that the manipulators don’t quit until they are forced to, by a buyout (Ariad, KITE, etc.) Although as you suggested previously, there is a chance that they reverse, assuming Lombardo gives them an excuse to do so. But if the choice at this point was between dilution at this price or a buyout, I agree with you.
