while it reads like a carefully researched journal article, the basic weakness is that the author admits to be heavily associated with Calmare and this, in most circumstances, especially scientific journals would and should have immediately disqualified the article and results.
If D'Amato wants to present his results, regardless of the number of cases, he needs to disassociate himself from the firm's board whether as a scientific advisor or whatever. His role as an owner of a clinic might be acceptable for collection of data, but even that is a fine line to walk in this instance.
