PB, I appreciate your response. Since I am relatively new to the board, please know that I don’t engage in bashing or pumping, will only state my opinion in a respectable and objective manner. I respect others right and opinion and expect the same in return.
The technology and its potentials are great. I believe the Viva team have as much stake in this Co. as I and others do and wants badly to succeed. However, it is a fact reflected in the share price and subscription count. The performance of last year has been dismal. So far, all the signed deals didn’t bring in value or revenue. Viva credibility have suffered big blow, and investor confidence have been seriously damaged by overreaching and not delivering.
I don’t profess to be an expert on how to run big companies. But, in my opinion, to restore credibility and begin to repair investors’ confidence, Viva management need to undertake the following with immediate effect:
1.Stop the destructive tweeter posts. Viva putting out vague tweets for shareholders to wildly speculate on and fill in the blanks e.g. distracting shareholders with things like smart city in NJ which of no real value to shareholders now. Or, appetizers and main course, etc.
2.Confirm if the earlier stated marketing campaign (Radio Ads) are up and running in NY & LA or not. Staying silent and allowing speculation doesn’t serve the best interest of the Co. and its shareholders. Leads me to believe the Radio Ads are not running and the expected revenue will not be coming in as been wildly expected.
3.Concentrate on building the Co. and the customer base, etc. everyone knows that it takes time to build the brand, etc. investors are willing to wait if they are shown progress no matter how small.
4.Keep shareholders informed with relevant information to ease off the wild speculations.
5.Stop all the repeated failures of intent, target, and anticipate. I understand it is standard language and there is no guarantee of delivery even with best plans.
6.Concentrate instead on what can realistically be achieved/delivered within reasonable time frame and manage expectation. Successful delivery in small chunks better than no delivery.
7.Follow up on accomplishments and missed targets, etc.
8.I am sure other points can be added to this list, but I think it makes the point clear.
The way shareholders relations have been handled for the last year or so has destroyed the Co. credibility and it can only be restored by real honest communications where realistic goals and accomplishments are shared tracked and highlighted periodically. Probably it is a tall order but somehow, the Co. need to turn this long downward trend around and quickly...
Go Viva and good luck to all….
