I think you will receive cash equivalent on your fractional shares and there won't be brokerage fee (could this fee depend on your brokerage? Perhaps you can verify the fee with your brokerage).

May be the the clearing houses is trying to be absolutely sure that Worlds has enough cash-in-hand for fractional shares, and thus may be another reason for the delay in the implementation of the R/S.
