#30435 RE: Instrumentalist #30434

This will drop back to the 3-4 range. Mark it.

I personally took some more profits (I've built free shares through trading) so I "de-risked" and am not afraid to say it to the chagrin of many here....I am also worried.

However, the fact that the court date is upcoming makes me think you are wrong. This was perfect timing.

agree. There’s no reason to buy with the best outcome being its reverted back to the ptab for more delay

Then wddd will have more legal fees and more dilution as it goes through the song and dance of waiting to see if anything changes - again this is best case - vs cafc killing off the patents Sua sponte as with what occurred with vrng

Then the ptab can review and make very little to no changes and then back to the cafc for another song and dance

While the cafc can give guidance the ptab doesn’t have to follow- the only way the rulings change are

1. The cafc overrules and provides their own ruling
2. Kills the patents

If they revert back to the ptab it’s a “redo” - and wait wait wait dilution happens

This is why patent investors should always take profits on moves not based in financial results - because the stocks will always trade back down on the reality of litigation delay and cost to a small player w no revenue.
