I have participated in the stock market going back to 1975. I have seen fads galore. I have seen new industries and new ways of doing business come and go. It pays to diversify but not too much. It pays to be patient but not hopelessly foolish. Established companies just keep getting bigger until they don't.
Government can come up with the necessary authority to do just about anything.
