That's short "Volume", not short "INTEREST"...completely different.

Risk-Reward sucks for shorting pennies and huge margin requirements are a turn-off....."Do the Math"..... not worth it.

clearly shows 1 day to cover & it is T2 aka 2day settlement
the daily short volume is meaningless on it's own.The Trade cycle is Trade Date plus 2 days for settlement. Daily only shows the First leg of a transaction and doesn't reconcile based upon settlements made seconds later as the trade has yet another 2 days to settle.
