INMG-Here is something to chew on. Not sure if it will help but just to toss it out there. We all hear about shorting. I personally do not believe pennies are shorted. MM's have a job to supply and sell shares for the brokers. If they fail at that the broker moves to a different MM. Now they may sell shares they do not have in hopes of covering at a later time but most trades have to be covered in 2 days. Now here is the part That I have been thinking about. Scottrade is selling out to TD Ameritrade and transferring accounts on the 26th of Febuary. Meaning all shares held by Scottrade have to accounted for on the 25th. Am not sure how many shares that is but if all Scottrade customers take their sell orders off the table the MM's have to do something. Any thoughts out there on this? And remember the 10k is a week later.
