So you are bidding for 2400 shares at .096 and the stock is offered at .097? If you get filled you will save $2.40. Why not just hit the offer???

A 2400 share order is not big enough to "show" on Level 2 for a stock trading at .09x. It is considered "immaterial" and such orders do not need to be marketed across all the MMs (L2).

The only way it would get hit is if YOUR BROKER got a sell order for .09s or lower.

As others have said, why not hit the ask if the delta to you is lees than a cup of coffee? Even then you may need to increase the size of your order to ger it visible and filled.
