Not even remotely - You may wish to study Keltner Channels bc they incorporate Exponential MAs using ATR as opposed to BBs using Simple MAs incorporating standard deviation to help determine buy/sell signals within the channel, BBS are more commonly used because due to their slightly lessened volatility within the indicators equation - both are equally good indicators depending on over-all volatility of each individual stock.
with BYOC Keltner will more likely allot for a better entry due to its lessened volatility factor -.. FYI ;-)
