I had the same thought as you, wondering if there would be a 'conflict of interest" when a deal with Athenex where a possibility. I have been doing some cursory searches on the topic, but haven't found anything yet.
Each day brings new questions and provides new learning experiences. Been with DCTH since June of last year. It's weird to say, but it has been a fantastic classroom. It also paid for last summer's two month vacation for my wife and myself. But it has been a "gut wrenching" journey as well.
But what the heck, have met quite a few unique individuals (Rap being one of them), and quite a few Bot's (sometimes I think we have our own) along the way.
