From what I heard the MM's really hate these hidden orders in between, NITE started a few months ago to not accept any hidden orders below the size threshold as a limit order! So if you wanna buy 5k shares of DDDX below 10 cents you could only do it right at the ask, you couldn't even put in a limit order lower and wait.
