I never said there was precedent for your hypothetical set of facts. When I was in law school I did learn however that writing lies for the specific purpose of hurting a person or entity is libel and that is not protected speech. That is how i view the hit piece.

Parinvestor - I think we are both bulls on this stock...libel or not, the article was a piece of crap and I think we agree on that.
