Good post. FB may be having its last hurrah.

I know someone who has three aliases on Facebook. Did it with little problem (he is not a genius at computers). So, if he barely tried and got three aliases, how many aliases could someone very motivated to have a number of accounts have?

Do you start dividing the FB number of users by 2? 5? 10?

And what effect would the truth have on their advertising rates?

I do believe that FB will eventually go by the way of MySpace.

Facebook is just a boring pool of sludge - politics, baby pics and people sharing memories from the last year. It’s a wasteland. Just as MySpace became. Facebook was so clean and simple in the beginning. Now it’s just this directionless pit of nothingness.

It’s just turning into a sea of garbage.

Last year I posted positive things here about VR and Oculus but I am changing my tune.

Ask yourself this one very serious question - how much money have you personally given Facebook or a Facebook advertiser through the App or the Web UI?

I’m sorry, I just think Facebook is losing its way. It’s a sea of total garbage for the past year. Just sick of all the same crap.

The way they could really kill it is with VR content and mass scale entertainment programming - but this is years away. The APIs and bandwidth aren’t here yet to support an entirely new way of live and pre-recorded entertainment delivery.
