John12341: Had gone to dinner and just noticed your post. Very nice! Tom knows which technologies are good. He is like a kid in a candy store. Tom said when he was the Chief of Commercialization he would get literally hundreds of calls per month from small tech companies wanting to do business with the government. He made note of the good ones and is now looking them up to put his technology empire together. If their business is weak and their technology is great all the better to first make them a MAP partner then as an acquisition. Think about it, no one works harder for a company the owner. So he gets the company and the owner and tweaks their technology and fixes whichever part of the companies structure that is weak by grabbing someone from one of the other MAPS that is strong in the area where the new company is lacking and has them help each other out. It is a brilliant strategy.
So has duke energy contracted to implement the tech of IHSI...if so that is the start of a REALLY big adoption opportunity by the entire utility industry. All this bitcoin mining is supposed to put a serious strain on the electric grid so this energy saver tech is right on Time.
