Agreed. 7 months is a long time to show now progress (decline, actually). If there's not some magic before the proxy, I don't see how he could possible stay in the job. Unless, of course, there's something we don't know (quite likely...)

Agree. Also, news may come early the following week... 2/12 or 2/13. If they mail the proxies on 2/9, folks may not get them until early the following week... so the plan may be to release news before they know voting can start, which may not be until 2/12 or 2/13.

I hope you are correct, but given the past history, I think we read too much into these dates and events and end up being disappointed. Remember when they moved the call to late December from January? Everyone got excited the only reason they did that was because they had some special deal announcement. What happened?

I am not getting too optimistic this time. I think the date may simply be a matter of preference or convenience, nothing else. Again, I would love to be proven wrong on this one.
