Hard to say. You would think that it would be too big to ignore, but, perhaps, the big pharmaceutical companies would want to suppress anatabine because it could impact the market of their products. Anatabine may turn out to be one of those fringe supplements that may or may not develop a huge following.
I think it would take a strong entity (business or otherwise) to take it on and build a business.
