There was an updraft tower (Russia?) but it fell into disrepair and has crumbled. I guess that's because it generated so much money. With all that money coming in I guess they figured there was no point in maintaining the source to the money. You know . . . because . . . like who would?

I agree. I never heard of a downdraft tower.
