answers for austin and cosmo: Yes they may use shares to fund operations, however they are not at 100 mil yet, and would have to use up another 160 mil before they got to the 240 mil set aside for the Mercatus deal if indeed they aren't used for that funding package or another similar one.
Cosmo: Of course the deal may not happen with Mercatus, but the comment from austin is that it looked like it wasn't going to happen. Big difference. Let's all pay attention to what is posted so we don't have to waste time explaining things and create more confusion.
They have always been looking for other lenders, and they will continue to until they have enough money. This does not mean the mercatus deal is dead. As I posted earlier, Mercatus would not continue to spend money on the deal and communicated multiple times every week if the deal was dead.
