They probably thought it was easier to clear up then it was.
Probably more Everett fault than Sal. He was probably pushing how great the shell was without checking how long it would take.
Seems to happen often here. CEO's not paying enough attention to the timeline to clean up a shell. OTC can be very slow. Then going back and forth with SEC. Easily can take 6-12 months especially for mergers.
If we count last June as the start when Everett took over. We already in month 8.
So it makes sense now we are close to the finish line.
I think they really wanted to take advantage of the Nols from the start. So even though it's been a long and bumby road to get this done. They know it's worth it.
