Because step 2 of Dr. Odidi forming the Smart Pharmaceuticals Shanghai manufacturing company then securing the distribution deal with Shanghai Pharma probably consists of both Smart Pharma on the manufacturing side and Shanghai Pharma on the distribution side, each then signing deals with IPCI to commercialize some of IPCI's generics like Glucophage.
The main reason I'm even suggesting that that's what it appears to be is due to the fact that Smart Pharmaceuticals Shanghai appears to have been formed and operated by Dr. Odidi in May 2017 and despite that deal announced between Smart Pharma and Shanghai Pharma...there's been no news put out by IPCI yet.
So we're either still within the 48 to 72 hour window IPCI has to inform the market of material events...or phase 2 of the deal between Smart Pharma and Shanghai Pharma consists of each China based company now striking a deal with IPCI.
Only IPCI can end the speculation and provide the needed clarity however
