New in town? This a volatile sector that generally trades pretty closely across companies. Double digit moves in both directions regularly.

I guess your perspective changes according to what you purchased at and how long you have held. I have been here for a while, I saw the share price rise to 17 per share from 4 just as Justin got elected and then it went back to 7. I think we are in a pull back phase after a giddy run. If you are down right now I would just hold and ride this out. Particularly in canopy! I used to hold Aurora but I do not like the way they do business, really tacky being hard line about the hip ultimatum they seem to have a different agenda than most in the space. The thing that sealed it for me was that they plan to grow weed in the desert for 50cents a gram. That is a forward looking statement I found unbelievable. I sold them and bought Emerald on the news of their joint venture with Valley Farms. In my opinion the conversion of a 1 million sq ft greenhouse that is already up and producing has an advantage over a smaller one that is still being built. Nothing has changed as far as the ultimate legalization goes, this is just part of the ride. It is depressing when it is down but if you sell, you are locking in losses. I am holding till legal and the re balancing at that point I think I will hold Canopy in to the future as long as they continue making the great moves. I see them being a key component in my retirement as they seem to me to be the most likely to generate dividends in the future.
These are my own observations based on my own experience and thoughts, please do you own research.
