Who knows why the low number, other than the plan being approved in 2011. The e Employee Incentive plan gives away free shares, that likely has something to do with it. But it seemed pretty low to me as well.

These programs usually exclude Senior Executives who receive Equity as a portion of Total comp. This was for the lab workers, administrative assistants, etc.
