I will not be surprised at all if some of the big fish (e.g., ALB, the Chinese or the financial institutions) will also make announcements of huge increases in production or of excess supply. I suspect that part of the reason for doing this is to affect junior lithium producers and nervous investors. I think that this strategy may succeed in sending to bankruptcy speculative explorers not yet producing and with no financing or poorly managed companies. However, I believe that well run producing companies like Altura, Galaxy, Orocobre and a few others with solid footing will be ok. I am not saying that their SPs will not suffer at times, like it happened this week, but they will do very well in the long term. As you stated, it will be very important to hold your lithium stocks with strong hands when a new wave of negativity comes our way.
