I haven't seen that yet. But perhaps they will start with Vista.

I think that Microsoft wanted to differentiate themselves due
to the inroads that GCC and ICC were making. They're kind of
covering both ends with making the express editions free.

They're still making a bucket of money on the professional
development tools.
