Wow an article from 2008 lol.. Cellular triangulation has improved leaps and bounds in the last 10 years and still improving that’s why the company EMERSON bought out Locus Trax in 2016 who uses a device for tracking and temperature monitoring and is CELL-ID ONLY and uses it for its cargo and shipping because it doesn’t have to put be tracked down to the foot... only a small radius... And the EMERSON in its 1st year did 21Million just from this only CELL-ID Device..
The applications for a Disposable tracking device the size of a penny is in the multi thousands! The Estimated tracking market is set to be around 50 billion by 2020 so I think there’s a need here....
