Yeah, I pretty much agree just saying I don't think it's totally in the bag yet. C-46 isn't law yet and the Senate could be a problem for us. If the Senate does its job in representing the regional interests of Canadian's then it'll pass, if not it only proves that it's an archaic and undemocratic institution that needs to go away.
Even though Trudeau has Senate seats to allocate, if he uses them to support passing this bill he's going to look like a massive hypocrite considering his platform is reform/do away with it completely. Basically...there's WAY more to the politics behind this.
