Trump needs nine Senate votes from the Democrats to get a budget deal to keep the government open. He'll likely not get any. It will be comical to be reminded of how many "non-essential" government employees are on the payroll come Friday night. <G>

US Govt will never shut down so to speak. That phrase is a misnomer at best and used to scare people. Every month they have said this for as long as I can remember. Congress won't go without having their BIG paychecks either...

We have a strong businessman trying to improve basis of the USA from manufacturing upward as it once was. Then you have career status quo politicians of both parties who do not want to see their swamp drained of priviledged lifestyles/connections they got toooo comfortable having for decades. But, over 70% of the American people are behind this President and THEY are the majority of the PEOPLE and so all will be fine..

What I laugh at, is one of the very wealthy Liberal CEO's (Apple's) went on air yesterday saying Trump's tax plan is one major reason Apple is repatriated $hundreds of Billions and willing to pay US Treasury that $38 Billion fine/fee to do so. Now if other Silicone Valley Liberal $Billionaires do the same, this stock market will crest 30,000 by Valentine's Day if not sooner.

And maybe the mainstream Pravd-esque media in the USA today will wake up and report real facts, instead of making up false narratives daily as if this President is ruining this nation. He is doing what no other President has been able to do in the last 30 years or so... AND all in 1 year's time already..

We are in a very historical time today...
