You see it your way and i dont agree A duck with zero tech knowledge could not go into a room and just let the tech talk for itself no matter how good it is You have to be fluent in tech language, if you are the best marketer but have zero tech savvy there is zero chance of succeeding , But if you are a good marketer and fully are fluent in tech talk or even surround yourself with those who are you have a home run because now its a team effort the CEO/marketer does his thing while the techies support the tech
